cartouche-shaped, the lid inlaid in gold with Diana and two hounds amidst trees and foliage, a rabbit to the left and two birds to the right, all within scrollwork incorporating winged figures and classical masks, shells, and rocailles, crowned with a basket of fruit, outer strapwork borders, the stepped tapering base similarly inlaid with a male bust flanked by birds and piqué point scrolls,
