Comprising: a rectangular tray, six combs of different shapes and size, and an etui with circular section, all richly decorated with piqué posé gold flowers, butterflies and scrolling foliage around piqué posé scalework or rocailles, unmarked,

The underside of the tray with a handwritten paper label reading:

'This toilette was the gift of the states of Venice to the Countess of Granville secretary of state in the reign of George the third & given by him to her sister the Lady Juliana Penn',
