5¼-inch silvered dial with subsidiary seconds and up/down dials, signed Chas. Frodsham, London, No.2367, the fusee and chain movement with Earnshaw-type spring detent escapement, cut bi-metallic balance and helical spring mounted on a fully signed and numbered platform deeply planted between the rectangular plates, the baseplate numbered 531, all plates spotted, the case with arched top and bevel-glazed escapement window, ebony mouldings, moulded base and block feet,
