Sotheby’s is proud to offer this 2021 Ryder Cup Flag signed by the European team, commemorating one of the most memorable and historic editions of the biennial competition. Held at Whistling Straits in Kohler, Wisconsin, the 2021 Ryder Cup, rescheduled to September 2021 from September 2020 due to the global pandemic, saw the United States team deliver a convincing performance to reclaim the Cup from the Europeans.
The lot is accompanied by a letter from James Spence Authentication in regards to the signatures. The flag is signed by Paul Casey, Matt Fitzpatrick, Tommy Fleetwood, Sergio García, Tyrrell Hatton, Viktor Hovland, Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy, Ian Poulter, Jon Rahm, Lee Westwood, Bernd Wiesberger, and Captain Pádraig Harrington. The flag is also signed by Luke Donald, Martin Kaymer, Graeme McDowell, and Henrik Stenson.
