Sotheby’s is pleased to present Scottie Pippen’s 1992 NBA All-Star Game–worn shorts, worn during his second All-Star appearance and his first as a starter. The shorts reflect one of the most recognizable All-Star uniform designs of the early 1990s, an era remembered for both its visual style and the players who defined it.

The game was played on February 9, 1992, in Orlando, Florida, where the Western Conference defeated the Eastern Conference, 153–113. Despite the score, Pippen turned in a strong performance, recording 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals, and 1 block. His role as a starter reflected his rising status in the league and his growing reputation as a dependable two-way player.

Entering the season as defending champions, the team faced the challenge of proving its success was sustainable. The Bulls ultimately delivered, completing their first back-to-back championships and establishing the core of a lasting dynasty.

These shorts come directly from the Collection of Scottie Pippen.
