the first, a hardstone and micromosaic snuff box with silver and gilt-metal mounts, Rome, circa 1840, rectangular, the lid of the dark green veined marble inset with a small micromosaic panel representing a spaniel, within a reeded frame, small protruding thumbpiece, gilt interior

8.5 cm., 3 ⅜ in. wide.;

the second, a gold-mounted micromosaic and mother-of-pearl plaque, Luigi Cavaliere Moglia, Rome, mid-19th century, rectangular with cut corners, the micromosaic representing a King Cavalier Charles spaniel on a grassy ground, initialed LM below, on a black glass background, mother-of-pearl reverse, gold frame, 4.4cm, 1 ¾ in. wide;

the third, a micromosaic vinaigrette with gold and gilt-metal mounts, circa 1830/1840, oval, the lid inset with a micromosaic plaque of a spaniel on a grassy ground, within scalloped gold border, the hinged lid opening to reveal a pierced scrollwork grille, bombé sides chased with scrolling  foliage in high relief, 3.9 cm. 1 ½ in. wide
