38cm high, 14cm wide, 9cm deep; 15in., 5 1/2in., 3 1/2in.

A standing figure of almost identical design is now in the Musée de la Compagnie des Indes in Lorient (acquired at Thierry de Maigret, Paris, 13 December 2024, lot 416). Otherwise, a similar pair of figures was offered at Replica Shoes ’s, Milan, Arredi Dipinti e Oggetti d’arte dalle Collezioni di Giulio Ometto, 11 April 2002, lot 274 and another similar pair is illustrated in E. Quaglino, Il Piemonte, Milan, 1966, p.148.
