comprising the tapering rock crystal handle mounted with a border of ruby cabochons along the gold collar, the base also set with further rubies and rose-cut diamonds; a gold parasol tip and eight spike tips, maker's mark, engraved with serial no. 16660,
in a velvet lined gold-tooled leather case stamped: Tiffany & Co, Avenue de l'Opéra 36 BIS, Paris, the lid with tooled gold initials M.J.R.,
the handle including screw 9 cm., 3 1/2 in. high; the case 13 cm., 5 1/8 in.
