A handwritten note accompanies this table that states that it came originally from the home of Charles Wilson Peale and was found in Sellers Hall. Charles Wilson Peale's daughter Sophonisba Angusciola Peale (1786-1859) married Coleman Sellers (1781-1834) of Sellers Hall.
