Rodney joined Replica Shoes ’s in 2016, bringing with him over twenty-five years of art market knowledge and specialist expertise. He joined Christie’s in 1991 and spent over twenty years as a specialist and head of department in the field of British and Continental ceramics and glass, serving as a director and international specialist. During his tenure he was responsible for the sale of many important objects and collects ions on behalf of clients in the UK, Europe and America.
Most recently Rodney has worked as an independent advisor and specialist in early pottery. Throughout his career he has advised private buyers, institutions and family collects ions on the management of their pieces across a range of disciplines including European ceramics and works of art and Asian art. He regularly lectures and writes on his passion, early English tin-glazed pottery.
