The enamel dial signed Ferdinand Berthoud, central enamel alarm disc and finely pierced and engraved gilt hands, the movement with anchor escapement, quarter repeating with two hammers on a single bell, the cadrature mounted on the backplate, the alarm acting on the strike bell, signed on the backplate Ferdinand Berthoud A Paris, the case with urn surmount, trellis side frets and a foliate mask
