A pair of Louis XV style gilt-bronze three-light wall appliques, late 19th century, in the manner of Jacques Caffiéri

The present pair of wall-lights, with their confident curved lines and organic form, evoke the mature rococo style of the mid-18th century. The virtuoso design and fluidity of movement combined with refined chasing all relate to the oeuvre of Jacques Caffiéri.
