the break-fronted tops with solid flame mahogany slabs within a cross banded bordered, the blind-fretted frieze within a stylized egg-and-dart border and centred with a tablet depicting a stylized flowerhead, the square legs with conforming fret-work with pierced brackets and fluted quarter-columns to inner leg, on block feet

83.5cm. high, 185cm. wide, 84cm. deep; 2ft. 9¼in., 6ft.¾in., 2ft. 9in.

Probably supplied to Sir Richard Brooke 4th Bt., for Norton Priory, Cheshire and thence by descent.
