Lindsey Loves: Lindsey Isla’s Sale Picks, Must-Reads and Bingeable TV Recommendations This Month
The content creator fills us in.
Love is officially in the air this February.
Say what you will about Valentineโs Day and capitalism (I totally hear you), but in my heart-shaped eyes, anything to look forward to at this time of year can only be a good thing.

And youโre right, celebrating romantic love can feel a bit exclusive, but celebrating love for your friends, your family, your pets or even yourself is not.

We could be mad about many things, but celebrating relationships isnโt one of them, I donโt think.
So in the name of love, here are a few things Iโve loved this month…

Ganni Puffer Coat
Itโs got to that time of the year when I am OFFICIALLY OVER wearing a coat. Iโm done. Iโm bored of it. I can notโฆexcept I definitely will because I also hate to be cold.
This Ganni Puffer was a recent sale purchase and it certainly made layering up feel more bearable.ย

Funny Woman
As they say โwhen you know, you knowโ and when I saw the advert for Funny Woman, I just knew. Sometimes, you donโt even have to watch the first five minutes before you realise a TV show is going to be the one for you.
Set in the 60s and adapted from Nick Hornbyโs 2014 novel, Funny Girl, the series has it all: great costumes, great actors and a great script. If comfort TV is what youโre after this February, then look no further than this.
You can stream every episode on Now TV with a subscription.ย

Full-Length Trousersย
When I was in my 20s, you wouldnโt have caught me with the bottom of my trousers below my ankles.
Weโd just got through the skinny jeans era (yeah, Iโve heard skinny jeans are making a comeback, but Iโll leave that rant for another day), but ankle swingers were still all the rage if you could see my socks then I was happy.
Fast forward to 2023 and Iโm beginning to introduce some full-length trousers, even jeans, into my wardrobe and Iโm not mad about it. Best of all, I donโt have to worry about finding matching socks.
These โStraight full-length jeansโ from Other Stories have got me daydreaming about them; Iโd be pairing them with some New Balance for a laid-back weekend look.ย ย

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow
Iโve just finished reading Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin. I had high expectations considering itโs been notoriously compared to A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara, one of the best books Iโve ever read.
Although it was a great read, I canโt say I felt as deeply connected to the characters as I did when I was reading A Little Life.
However, Iโm excited to hear itโs being made into a film and I would say itโs worth a read, if you get the chance, before then.
