The autumn sales series at Sotheby’s Hong Kong attracted a new generation of art collects ors, with 25% of all buyers aged under 40 years old. 20 auctions held over five days achieved US$426 million – the sixth consecutive Hong Kong series to exceed US$400 million. A record series of Contemporary Art sales was led a monumental Yoshitomo Nara canvas that sold for nearly five t.mes s the artist’s previous auction record.
