Led by Cy Twombly’s rhapsody in blue loops from 1968 Untitled (New York City) and Francis Bacon’s arresting Two Studies for a Self-Portrait from 1970, the sale saw 95.4% of all lots sold – the highest sell-through rate in over six years.
