Eclectic | Paris will take you through the imaginary apartment of an eclectic collects or. In his home, he mixes Twentieth Century Design with Old Master Paintings, European Furniture with Contemporary Art, Photography and African Art. As you enter his house, placed on a 1935 design console, you will see 18th objects alongside an African artwork. Following through the corridor, along the walls is displayed a very diverse collects ion of portraits. You then end up in his study; that’s where he showcases his collects ion of books, then again ranging from Molière to Zao Wou-Ki. This sale showcases the unexpected correspondence between very diverse pieces, that when put together actually highlights their individual character. We invite you to explore this eclectic collects ion and find inspiration in these works.
