Description
Kentucky Tavern 10 Year Old 100 Proof 1916
Distilled in the Fall of 1916, bottled in the Spring of 1926, produced and Bottled in Bond by H.S. Barton Distillery, Owensboro, KY, tax strip worn and damaged, original carton worn, damaged and missing the top of the box
Kentucky Tavern bourbon originated in the late 19th century at the Monarch Distillery in Owensboro, Kentucky. Not only did it survive the distillery’s purchase by James Thompson in 1901, but it became a flagship brand of his new operation, renamed the Glenmore Distillery.
