The Reference 716 is an obscure and rarely seen mid-20th-century pocket watch that was in production from the early 1940s to the mid 1960s. Made with a two-piece case, the reference 716 was offered in platinum, yellow and pink gold with many dial variations.
The present 716 features a charming silvered dial with applied pink gold and painted enamel indices. Housing the dial is a pink gold case crafted by renowned Genevan case maker Eggly & Cie who supplied cases for Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, and Patek Philippe.
