of navette shape, the lid base decorated with crimson enamel medallions painted en grisaille with frolicking putti, within gold borders, surrounded by a translucent dark green enamel ground decorated with gold lobes, the side of the lid further painted with a dark green Greek key border and applied with chased gold ribbons from which gold basket handles emerge, later gold footrim, rubbed maker’s mark, charge mark of Jean-Jacques Prévost (1762-1768), Paris date letter, later Vienna control mark, restoration to enamel throughout,
