the second decorated with a classical mask within silver strapwork and scrolls above scroll-framed cartouches with reclining putti, within stylised tulip and scroll borders, silver mounts, 8 cm., 3 1/8 in. wide;
the hinged lid of the the third decorated with a silver amorous couple amidst classical ruins, rocailles and vine and leaf borders, 8.1cm., 3 1/8 in. wide;
the fourth, a silver, mother of pearl inlaid tortoiseshell snuffbox, Naples, circa 1760, decorated with five commedia dell'arte figures dancing below canopies on a chessboard floor, reeded silver mounts, 7.8cm., 3 in. wide
