Description
triangular, the diamond-set oval aperture framed by a flower wreath in three different shades of gold, the translucent dark blue enamel frame surmounted with a large gold ribbon and resting on silver-mounted sapphire cabochon feet, silver reverse, apparently unmarked,
height 17.5 cm; 6 7/8 in.
The design of this frame appears to be based off of an earlier model by Faberge, now held in the Cleveland Museum of Art, see acc. no. 66.456.
