rectangular, the lid enamelled with a young couple in folkloristic attire frolicking by a balustrade in in Gothic style below brightly-enamelled lancet windows, engraved gold Corinthian columns and vine leaves on a reeded ground, the waisted sides and base enamelled with colourful trefoils and geometric ornaments or plain cartouches formed of shapes reminiscent of onion domes, within in opaque black enamel borders, the left rim with St. Petersburg import mark AT with a fleur-de-lys to centre, town mark and standard,
