A Lyon counterfeit edition.


8vo (150 x 92 mm). Italic type, 32 lines plus headline. collation: A-B8 a-z8 aa-kk8: 280 leaves (B8 blank). Title printed in red and black within woodcut border, woodcut initials, 2 double-page woodcut maps of Gaul and Spain, full-page woodcut illustrations, ink drawing on verso of title-page imitating the border with the cross in the center. (Title-page very slightly frayed, slight damp-staining towards end.)


binding: Early nineteenth century leather-backed orange marbled boards (155 x 105 mm), paper label on spine, blue speckled edges. (Binding and joints rubbed.)
