30th Dynasty/Ptolemaic Period, 380-30 B.C.


of slender tapering form painted on the front with the Anubis Jackal, protector of the deceased, couchant, the other three sides with striding jackal-headed Anubis accompanied by a goddess, the lid surmounted by the falcon god Sopdu wearing a tall ostrich-plume headdress.

Height 76 cm.
