This American film noir was directed by Henry Hathaway, and stars Marilyn Monroe, Joseph Cotten and Jean Peters. It tells the story of two couples who are visiting Niagara Falls. The wife of one of the couples plots with the husband of the other, to kill her husband, but all does not go to plan. Monroe was given first billing on this film, which propelled her to super-star status.
