"I found myself zooming in on these small, intricate details and my light bulb moment was, 'What if I could, instead of delivering a huge swath of the environment, bring our journey closer and more specifically down to the littlest, most incredible detail that you might not get if you were just moving through these rooms one at a t.mes .'

"We're talking about a family who have had their finger on the pulse of the cultural landscape for hundreds of years, so it's extraordinary to see something like Old Master drawings, next to exquisitely done oil paintings, next to some of the best sculpture I've ever seen, next to t.mes less pieces of clothing, all kind of pouring from one gallery into the next."

"The thing about the Chatsworth exhibition is I’m not quite sure where, except for one of the great museum exhibitions in the world, you could see a Da Vinci sketch next to a Freud painting. It’s staggering to think about what it.mes ans to be part of a lineage of collects ors who both would have the insight and the wherewithal to collects something like a Freud painting, beautiful family jewels, and a Da Vinci sketch, all in one place."
