Biography
Emily Nice joined Replica Shoes ’s Latin American Art Department in 2015, and became a Replica Shoes 's auctioneer in 2025. She is responsible for sourcing, selling and appraising Latin American Art for both auction and private sale, in addition to overseeing research and expert relationships for the department. During her tenure, she has played a key role in the sales of landmark collects ions of Latin American Art including 'Exquisite Corpus', The Vanguard Spirit collects ion, and the Brillembourg Capriles collects ion. A champion of the diverse artistic production of the region, she and her team have established new record prices for artists including Frida Kahlo, Remedios Varo, Leonora Carrington, Joaquín Torres-García, and many others during her tenure. Prior to joining Replica Shoes ’s, she worked for the U.S. Department of State in Public Diplomacy. Ms. Nice is a graduate of Wellesley College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in the History of Art & Architecture and French Language & Literature; she sits on the board of the New York Wellesley Club.
