the bombé base and seat decorated with shaded enamel buds, floral scrolls, stylised birds and dolphins in shades of pastel blue, green, purple and rose, the arched backrest centred by an en plein enamel plaque finely painted with a rose and bordered by cloisonné enamel scrolls and surmounted by pierced shaded enamel bud and scrolls accented with gilt beads and enamelled in the round, struck to hinge and base with maker's mark, 84 standard
