An Egyptian Polychrome and Gilt Cartonnage Mummy Mask
late Ptolemaic/early Roman Period, circa 1st Century B.C./ 1st Century A.D.
wearing a blue tripartite wig with applied diadem in relief, a winged scarab and sun-disk flanked by two short columns of inscription above, a djed pillar flanked by uraei on each side, the gilt face with glass-inlaid eyes, eyebrows, and cosmetic lines.
Height 42.5 cm.
