on four silver lion paw feet, one end carved as a lion mask with glass eyes and textured mane, the body with fluting and foliage, carved with Hebrew inscriptions for Sukkot around the body, marked IAK and 12 in a striated shield with star


Length 5½in. (14 cm)

On the sides: “On the first day you shall take the product of hadar trees, branches of palm trees, boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook” (Lev. 23:40).
