Founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany, the famed American jeweler was an emporium of all manners of 'fancy goods’ and became the most prestigious retailer of t.mes pieces in the Americas. So much so that most t.mes pieces retailed by the storied American company had their watchmakers’ signatures replaced by the retailer signature, with the exception of Patek Philippe, a test.mes nt to the long standing partnership across the Atlantic that began back in 1851. A partnership that is embodied by the present t.mes piece.
The inclusion of the Tiffany & Co. signature on a rare and desirable pink colored dial underscores the rarity and desirability of the present t.mes piece. Astonishingly well preserved, the engraved enamel on the dial remains crisp and raised.
