The successful partnership between Patek Philippe and Tiffany & Co. began in 1851, when the renowned American retailer and jewelry house became Patek Philippe’s first authorized agent in North America.
To commemorate this extraordinary collaboration, Patek Philippe produced a special limited edition in 2001 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of its relationship with Tiffany & Co. The series was issued in three precious metals, with 150 examples each in yellow gold, white gold, and pink gold.
Reference 5150 features a 36 mm officer-style case and is powered by an upgraded annual calendar movement. Notably, the watch displays the month as a numeral and represents the first annual calendar configuration with both the day and month shown through apertures. The dial subtly acknowledges the partnership with a discreet “T” positioned at 12 o’clock.
A true collects or’s piece, this watch epitomizes the enduring collaboration between two houses that have long pursued perfection in both design and function. The present example is offered in service-sealed condition and accompanied by a full suite of accessories, including a tissue-sealed commemorative silver medal and a presentation box, which remains in excellent condition for the period.
