framed: 21.9 x 25.3 cm.; 8⅝ x 10 in.
Where acquired by Sir Peter Jonas (1946–2020).
The copper plate is flat and stable, the paint surface is fairly clean and the varnish is only slightly discoloured. There are a handful of tiny retouchings that are revealed under ultraviolet light and a slightly more concentrated area to a small knock, centre left. The painting is in overall good condition.
