the sabiji-nuri [simulated russet iron] lacquered mempo [face mask] forged with smooth, unwrinkled face, open mouth and hinged nanban [European] nose plate, yadome [standing flanges] to the cheeks, wild boar bristle chin tuft, red lacquer interior, four-tiered sabiji-nuri yodaregake [throat protector] with sugake odoshi [spaced lacing] in dark blue braid, the illustrated fitted black metal stand is sold with this lot
