An Egyptian Polychrome Limestone Relief Fragment, 18th/19th Dynasty, 1540-1190 B.C.


carved in shallow relief, with the head of a woman facing right and wearing a long smooth wig, lotus diadem and cosmetic comb. Her face with long eyebrows and cosmetic lines, remains of an inscription in the upper left.


Length: 6 ½ in.; 16.5 cm
