8vo (186 x 141 mm), large paper copy, uncut. Roman and italic types, 39 lines plus headline. collation: a10 A-O8 a84: 134 leaves. Woodcut Aldine device on title-page, woodcut initials. (a5-6 trimmed and inlaid to size, other leaves trimmed, a few stray instances of soiling.)


binding: Red morocco gilt (198 x 153 mm), probably by Storr of Grantham, central gilt Aldine device, spine gilt in compartments, deckle edges. (Spine rubbed, one or two stains, joints weak.)
