Joseph-Pierre-Jacques Duguay, Paris, 1772-1773


Oval form, resting on four scroll feet with foliate brackets, the sides applied with oak leaf and acorn swags below fluted bands, with two goat mask handles and ribbon-tied reeded borders, the covers with fluting and pine cone finials, the cover rims engraved 'J. BTE CHERET A PARIS', with oval stands engraved in the centre with a coat-of-arms below a coronet, the covers engraved inside with the same coat-of-arms, for Count Franciszek Ksawery Branicki (François-Xavier) (1730-1819).
