18 volumes (of 37), 8vo. Title-page to each volume with woodcut device, numerous folding engraved plates, mostly by J.C. Philips; some foxing, toning, and offsetting. Uniformly bound in half polished tree-calf over specked boards, spines with two morocco lettering labels; extremities rubbed, some wear to spines.  

A partial set of the Amsterdam edition, featuring many plates of zoological subjects.
