Accompanied by Gübelin report no. 17097232, stating that the sapphire weighing 39.27 carats and measuring 24.25 x 17.73 x 10.29mm, is of Ceylon origin, with no indications of heating. Each with French assay marks for 18 carat gold, the necklace also with French assay marks for platinum. Sapphire blue of strong saturation, with good transparency, with typical inclusions, some surface reaching, small scratches and abrasions. Diamonds estimated to weigh a total of approximately 25.00 - 28.00 carats, on average G-I colour, VS claritys , as gauged and graded in the mount. Signs of wear to the metal, evidence of repairs and signs of soldering to the reverse of the necklace. Clasps secure, safety catches. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 128 grams.
