款識：
玉篴聲中夢乍回，東風料峭曳簾開。
紅羅亭畔分明亂，縞袂蹁躚踏月來。
時庚午冬十月，胡起寫於滬上。

題識：
〈李〉 愛尋香雪探花回，緣花含苞紅蕊開。萬玉叢中心最戀，月明林下美人來。石門李嘉福題。

〈張〉 鄧尉與君去幾回，一回殘照一初開。梅花香雪一枝贈，畫裡佳人含笑來。乙酉秋日，奉北谿主人命，各步元韻一絕，江梅女史張城勉強和成，不免續貂之誚，佛頭擲糞矣。

註：胡錫珪精繪事，畫風冷雋超逸，仕女尤得靜淑韻致，摯友陸恢贊曰：「三橋先生為人靜，用心細，吾輩幾人中，屈指論之，當首推焉」。惜不得永年，壯歲即逝，其身後零縑斷素皆為追慕者搜羅殆遍，什襲寶藏，未具款者，多由姑蘇藝友如陸廉夫、金心蘭等添跋。本幅即有李嘉福、張城夫妻於畫家過世二年後，步其題畫詩原韻，各綴一詩唱和，是年李張二人同跋三橋畫作另有數幅，可知鑑賞力極高之李笙魚，對紅茵館主作品格外欣賞。
