The support appears to consist of a single panel, cradled to the reverse. There are a series of small vertical cracks in the panel, noticeable on the reverse and one of which is evident on the front lower right approx. 15 cm long running up from the lower edge. The paint surface, which has old craquelure lines running throughout, is generally secure and in good condition under a dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals numerous tiny and unobtrusive retouchings scattered throughout and a more significant area of retouching along the lines of the aforementioned crack. Offered in a gilt wood frame in good condition.
