6 Boot Trends That Will Be Massive in Autumn

After spending all week researching AW22’s biggest trends, it’s the boots I’m most excited about.
The boot trends emerging are not wildly different than those we’ve known and loved in the years past, but I just love, love, love a good pair of boots for winter, so I always embrace them whole-heartedly.

Frankly it’s very rare that I’m not wearing mine, even in the summer months. It’s warm for about two months of the year in the UK, and the rest of the time it’s definitely boots weather.
For that reason, the footwear style is one that I focus on every winter. Buy one or two good pair of boots and you’re sorted for the season.
For AW22, we’re seeing some of our all time favourite styles re-emerging. Platforms are everywhere this season, whether in the form of heels, loafers or boots.
Stella McCartney, 16Arlington and Richard Malone embraced the style in varying formats, with clog studs and curved shapes.
In keeping with the glamorous theme, we’re also seeing thigh-high pairs and even pantaboots for those brave enough, as well as stilettos.
All the boot trends end up merging with each other; you might see knee-high metallic western boots, platform biker boots or embellished stilettos. That’s part of the fun; you can make these completely your own.
