I know its early but I found so many incredible spring dresses, I just had to share them with you. While it still feels like we’re stuck in cold January, spring really is only around the corner we’re more than halfway through Winter and I could not be happier about this. Despite the current cold weather I can’t help but get excited for the warmer spring months to come. I for one am glad to see the back of what feels like the chilliest winter yet (I say this every year).

As the nights are getting lighter and the weather becomes a little more bearable, it means I can give my bulky puffers and cable knits a well-deserved 6 month retirement. Yes, winter fashion can have its upsides (I’m a sucker for a cosy scarf), but I’m more than ready to ditch the jumper dresses and thermal tights in favour of some sunnies and a long, flowing spring dress. Who’s with me?

Midi and maxi dresses make the perfect spring dresses. Why you ask? Well, you can still layer them to perfection with chunky cardigans and tights. And when summer rolls along, they pair amazingly with the cool-girl summer uniform – a pair of Birkenstocks and a tote bag. They’re one of the hardest working items in my wardrobe for sure.

So, what spring dress trends can we expect for SS24?

Minimalism, it’s your time to shine. The trends coming out of the spring/summer 2024 fashion shows in London, New York, Milan and Paris are all showing that discreet chic is on the up which is just a segway from the quiet luxury aesthetic we’re seen all over our feeds in no small part thanks to Sofia Richie Granger. For Spring dresses this year think whites, sheer fabrics, florals and a little bit of red for good measure. Also, SS24 trends are all about playing with textures, so keep an eye out for 3D details like ruffles, bows, rosettes, lace and tassels.
