Glastonbury Outfit Ideas 2024 What to Wear to Festivals This Summer
Not long to go!
Fashion lovers will know the pure thrill that is planning your festival outfit. Whether you’re getting glam at Glasto, raving at Reading, or boogying at Boardmasters this summer, allow me to take one element of festival prep off your hands. I’ve put together five festival outfits featuring all sorts of festival staples including crochet, bum bags, wellies, fringing…you name it, I’ve thought of it.
Glastonbury festival is mere weeks away, and if you’re lucky enough to have tickets, I’m sure you’ll have started thinking about what to pack. Despite the fact the toilets are less than lovely and you might have to forego a shower for a few days, you’ll still want to look and feel your best for the weekend. I’m the type of girl who never plans an outfit, which often gets me into trouble, so this time I decided to give my festival outfits for summer 2024 some extra thought.
I know not everyone likes to dress up for festivals, but some of us certainly do! I love a bit of fringing and if it’s sunny, you’ll want to ditch the layers in the daytime at least and wear some itsy bitsy shorts to get some sun on those legs (don’t forget SPF!). Shorts are a must at Glasto (or any other festival for that matter), but you’ll also want to pack a raincoat, a pair of wellies and a few pairs of sandals too. Hopefully below you’ll find everything you need (but I’ve added in a festival checklist just in case).
Need more outfit ideas? Here are a few ways to wear capri pants, 2024’s most surprising trend.
