Are bum bags still in style in 2024?

Here’s the good news: bum bags, aka fanny pack or belt bags in the US, are still hot on the scene in 2024 but with more updated styles.

While the classic fanny pack shape is here to stay, some of the bum bags with updated styles trending this year are mini belt bags, chain waist bags, and knitted belt bags. Also, expect to see bum bags uniquely embellished with beads, pearls, and fringe and bum bags in vibrant colours and patterns trending this year.

Bum bags are even spotted in the runways during the Spring/Summer 2024, with designers like Tibi and Proenza Schouler embracing the trend. You can also find bum bags in the newest collections of Dior, Jacquemus, Saint Laurent, and more.
