Zara is notorious for keeping quiet about its sales, but despite not being loud about it, the brand actually runs a number of sales – including one on Boxing Day. After the excitement of Black Friday, you might think you won’t be bothered about Zara’s Boxing Day sale – but let me tell you, it’s a much better opportunity to shop the brand’s pieces on sale.

When is the Zara Boxing Day sale? Our prediction

You’d be forgiven for expecting Zara to drop its Boxing Day sale on Boxing Day, but the Inditex brand actually kicks it off on Christmas Day. Last year, the sale started on the Zara app at 8pm, before moving online at 9pm before arriving in-store on Boxing Day. We’re predicting that the sale will follow the same pattern in 2023, so we’re predicting it to start on Christmas Day.

How much are the discounts during the Zara Boxing Day sale?

The brand usually offers up to 40% off and after a few weeks, the discount usually rises to up to 60% off. That said, it’s always best to buy what you want sooner rather than later as otherwise you’ll probably find them out of stock. Zara shoppers don’t wait around!

Zara offers its sales earlier on its app, so make sure you download it if you haven’t yet. When will the sale end?

This one continues until pretty much all the stock has gone. Expect to see the sale on throughout January, but if I were you, I wouldn’t hold out. As you can imagine, the Zara Boxing Day sale is exceedingly popular, so the best pieces go almost immediately.

Does Zara offer discount codes?

The brand doesn’t offer discount codes, though it’s rumoured that employees are given 25% off, applicable even to sale items. If you don’t work for Zara however, you can still reap the benefits of its sale events.

What is the best day to shop at Zara?

In an article by Marie Claire, former Zara employees share a few shopping hacks. According to them, the best days to shop online are usually Mondays and Thursdays for new items. Going into the store in the morning is the best time of day. There will be no crowds or long lines, and fresh stock will be put out.

Avoid Saturdays if you want the best shopping experience. As expected, much of the stock is taken on these days so you’ll do better to another time. Or you could shop online, where you’ll find pretty much everything.
