Is Prime Day only once a year?

Prime Day is an annual event, usually held once a year. But Amazon surprised its customers by hosting the first-ever Prime Early Access Sale in October, in addition to the usual Prime Day event held in July.

This exclusive sale provided Prime members with the opportunity to access discounts and deals that were comparable to those available during Prime Day.
