Unlike most other brands that offer sales throughout the year, Zara is known for keeping sales exclusively seasonal, choosing not to offer discounts or codes at any other time of the year. Snooze!
It might be annoying, but the fact is that fast fashion brands pumping out constant discounts and sales is actually incredibly detrimental for the environment, as it encourages over-consumption and excess. So it’s not all bad that Zara, one of the world’s most popular and successful fast fashion labels, only holds two per year. When they do come around, they’re seriously good too.
During their annual Christmas and summer sales, almost all of their pieces get their prices slashed before the next collection drops. The new in section is always heaving with gorgeous pieces too, but for now, here’s what you need to know about the winter sale (as well as the upcoming Black Friday sale).

When does the Zara winter sale start? Our prediction
The Zara sale usually starts on the evening of Christmas Day, so we’re predicting the same for 2024. Before then though, you can expect some big discounts at Zara during Black Friday, which is fast approaching. Black Friday this year lands on November 29th, and Zara usually offers roughly 20% off on all collections.
What’s included in the Zara winter sale?
So many items are slashed off during the brand’s sales, not just for winter but during all it’s other – very few, but big – sale events. Last year, everything was discounted by up to 60% except the new winter collection — from party dresses to pants. You can expect a similar situation for 2024, with amazing outerwear, footwear, dresses, knits, accessories and more on offer.
Predicted Zara sale dates in 2024
Black Friday: Zara’s Black Friday sale is anticipated to begin the day before Black Friday (November 28, 2024), continuing through th day itself (November 29, 2024). Last year, the sale started on the app a day early and then online an hour later, offering discounts of up to 40% on thousands of items, although Zara did not participate in Cyber Monday.
Christmas Day:Zara’s highly anticipated winter sale is expected to kick off on Christmas Day, which falls on December 25th this year, mirroring the timing of last year’s event. Shoppers can look forward to taking advantage of the discounts and deals that will be available, just as they did during the previous holiday season.
Sadly Zara doesn’t take part in any other sale dates throughout the year, but keep an eye on the Special Prices section for offers that are never publicly shared by Zara.

Sadly, the brand doesn’t offer discount codes, so it’s worth making the most of the sales when they do happen.

When the sale isn’t taking place, Zara has a secret area on its website for all their sale items, which is called ‘Special Prices’.
You’ll find this at the bottom of the Woman menu. While Zara does not widely publicise it, you can find some gems here.

Shoes
Another wearable item to invest in is footwear. You always need shoes and having a variety is so handy when it comes to throwing on an outfit in the morning. Investing in a pair of high quality, real leather boots that will last for years is something I try to do, rather than buying countless cheap pairs that fall apart after a few wears. Look for real leather or suede and make sure they’re versatile!

I’m all about a ballerina, but as a shoe more on the slim side, it feels like quite an expense to invest 70 quid into a pair. This style are undeniably worth it, but I’m deffo going to wait for Black Friday to invest!
Flat Faux Fur Ankle Boots, £59.99
Well, these are just as cute as a button, aren’t they? They’re faux fur (the only fur I’ll ever wear, thank you very much), and will keep you and your toots very warm. A great investment, if you ask me!
Partywear
With Christmas coming up and countless parties you’ll no doubt be attending, it’s not a bad idea to look at Zara’s partywear too. You only need a few party outfits (unless you’re planning to hit the town a lot in 2025!), so you may as well get some in the sale!
