Simone Rocha x Crocs Has Landed Here’s How to Shop the Collection

Everything you need to know about the upcoming collaboration.

2024 has seen a number of incredible designer collaborations already and now Simone Rocha x Crocs is here. Forget comfort versus style, this collaboration is all about embracing both. This unexpected partnership brings together the practicality of Crocs with the whimsical and romantic touches that define Rocha’s designs. Comfort with a touch of extravagance is the aim of the game when it comes to the highly-anticipated collaboration. This collaboration goes beyond the typical Crocs customisation. Move over jibbitz charms; Rocha’s designs are an explosion of embellishments, a testament to her love for intricate details. Rocha’s signature pearls and crystals take centre stage, adorning the clogs in a way that’s both playful and luxurious. Shimmering flowers inspired by wedding cake icing feature on platform mules, as well as oversized, teardrop crystals embellishing the classic clogs.

This isn’t Rocha’s first foray into collaborations. The designer previously showcased her expertise with high-street giant H&M in 2021, bringing her sought-after pieces to a wider audience. The Simone Rocha x Crocs collection is just the latest example of her ability to push boundaries and create truly unique pieces, as well as creating accessible fashion we can all afford. The collab with Crocs starts at £170, which is much more affordable than her regular shoes, which can cost as much as £700.

Hailing from Dublin, Ireland, Rocha honed her craft at the prestigious Central Saint Martins college in London. Following graduation, she launched her own label in 2017, and her unique vision quickly garnered recognition. Shortlisted for the coveted LVMH Prize in 2019, Rocha’s talent was undeniable. Her innovative designs further solidified her place in the fashion world with inclusions on Forbes’ prestigious 30 under 30 list in both 2019 and 2020.

Crocs meanwhile are a seriously divisive shoe. While they used to be seen as the cringiest shoe of them all, the comfortable clog saw a surge in popularity in 2021, when they saw a 64 per cent rise in revenue in their first quarter. Lyst reported that during the UK lockdown between April and May 2020, sales of Crocs rose by a third. Then Nicki Minaj wore a pair of diamond-embellished pink Crocs in 2021, and searches for the shoe rose by 4,900%.

It’s safe to say the shoe is back in style, and with Simone Rocha’s magic touch, these are set to sell out instantly. Below, you’ll find absolutely everything you need to know about the collection. Simone Rocha x Crocs release time date

The Simone Rocha x Crocs collection officially launched on April 10th, 2024 at midday (12pm). It’s available to buy from crocs.co.uk and simonerocha.com. As with many designer collabs, we’re expecting this collection to sell out incredibly quickly. They’re still available, but you’ll need to be quick if you want to grab ’em. Judging from Rocha’s latest runway show, there might be even more bedazzled Crocs on the horizon.

Simone Rocha x Crocs prices

Prices start from £170 (around $206 USD) for the classic clog, and the most expensive style is the Siren clog at £270. The Simone Rocha x Crocs collection doesn’t come with your typical Crocs price tag. It’s a steeper price point than classic Crocs to reflect the luxurious embellishments and the exclusivity of the collaboration. A regular pair of the classic clogs cost £44.99, while the siren clog comes in at £69.99 and the chunky mega Crush clog costs £74.99. Considering Simone Rocha’s regular prices, I still think the collection’s prices are pretty good!
